Who Are We?
We’re Altar Studios. Built in an 1800’s church in the heart of South Yorkshire, our studios are equipped with world-class hardware and experienced producers working with some of the biggest artists and labels today.
Our production work has sold millions, earning platinums and awards, and we’re trusted by artists such as the Chainsmokers, David Guetta, Kylie Minogue, Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry, and by labels including Sony BMG, Warner, Polydor, RCA and Universal.
We offer a variety of services to help artists and producers attain the professional sound required to be signed or released under their label, and we’re always looking for vocal talent to work with our artists.

As an Apple certified Mastering House we regularly mix, master and perform additional production aesthetics for many popular artists, improving their marketable viability and adding the professional polish that the listening audience expects to hear on the radio and streaming services.
